The 4th edition of the Wolves Summit conference took place on October 25-26 in Warsaw. Wolves Summit is the largest multinational event in Central and Eastern Europe for startups, investors, and entrepreneurs from around the world. The main objective of Wolves Summit is networking and communication, as well as the creation of growth opportunities for small and medium companies through active involvement of investors and entrepreneurs.
One of the main attractions of the conference is a competition for startups (Great Pitch). Out of the 350 companies that presented themselves at this year’s Wolves Summit, 9 companies qualified to the Great Pitch finals. Two of the companies come from our stable. Quarticon at Meet Magento in Asia

On October 15, 2016, our portfolio company Quarticon presented itself at the Meet Magento Conference, which took place at the GEM Centre in Ho Chi Minh City, one of the most energetic, dynamic and rapidly growing cities in Asia. Meet Magento Vietnam is the first Asian edition of the Meet Magento series (the leading conference for the e-Commerce and Magento community) which has been running since 2008 in Europe and the Americas.

The rapidly growing Asian e-Commerce market has given rise to many business opportunities, in particular in the South East Asian market where according to a Bain & Company survey, with population of 600 million (twice that of the USA), more than 100 million consumers have already made a digital purchase.

This year, the Meet Magento event brought together more than 1,000 decision makers, corporate leaders, technical specialists as well as many of the largest retailers within the region to engage in the e-Commerce and Magento ecosystem. The agenda of the conference covered many insightful sessions in areas such as e-commerce trends in general and the Magento ecosystem in particular. The topics covered included B2B commerce, digital marketing, payment & shipping methods, and the evolution of Magento 2.0.

Nestmedic just about to bring Pregnabit to the market

Nestmedic announced that later this year the company will start the market launch of Pregnabit, a portable CTG device, which allows to control the status of the fetus at any time and place.
Nestmedic wants to become the market leader for mobile CTG for the so-called physiological, i. e. non-pathological pregnancies, which represent approx. 80 percent of all cases. The company is looking for global partners and sees large potential primarily in markets where telemedical solutions are being developed.
– Pregnabit is a device that is very small, mobile and easy to use – a CTG, thanks to which we are able to carry out a CTG examination at any place and time. After 30 minutes, the results of the examination are sent to the Medical Telemonitoring Center, where qualified medical personnel constantly analyzes all records and, if necessary, directs the examined woman to a health center. If everything is in order, subsequent examinations are performed with appropriate frequency – explained Dr. Patricia Wizińska-Socha, the CEO of Nestmedic, in an interview with the agency Newseria Investor.

Pregnabit recognized as the most innovative telemedical product at the International Fair of Medical wihe Hospital

On 3-5 October, the Warsaw International Healthcare Exhibition WIHE Hospital took place in Warsaw.
In a competition organized during the event, the jury chose the most innovative product in the category “telemedicine”. The award was received by our company Nestmedic, manufacturer of teleCTG product called Pregnabit. Congratulations to the Nestmedic Team!
WIHE Hospital is a specialist event of a business and educational character, addressed to physicians of various specialties, nurses and midwives, paramedics and managers of healthcare facilities. At the same time it is the largest international exhibition in the Mazovia Province of products and medical devices as well as solutions in the field of telemedicine.
