On October 15, 2016, our portfolio company Quarticon presented itself at the Meet Magento Conference, which took place at the GEM Centre in Ho Chi Minh City, one of the most energetic, dynamic and rapidly growing cities in Asia. Meet Magento Vietnam is the first Asian edition of the Meet Magento series (the leading conference for the e-Commerce and Magento community) which has been running since 2008 in Europe and the Americas.
The rapidly growing Asian e-Commerce market has given rise to many business opportunities, in particular in the South East Asian market where according to a Bain & Company survey, with population of 600 million (twice that of the USA), more than 100 million consumers have already made a digital purchase.
This year, the Meet Magento event brought together more than 1,000 decision makers, corporate leaders, technical specialists as well as many of the largest retailers within the region to engage in the e-Commerce and Magento ecosystem. The agenda of the conference covered many insightful sessions in areas such as e-commerce trends in general and the Magento ecosystem in particular. The topics covered included B2B commerce, digital marketing, payment & shipping methods, and the evolution of Magento 2.0.
XTPL was among the 23 most promising technology companies from around the world that presented themselves during this year’s edition of INPHO VENTURE SUMMIT, held in Bordeaux (France).
