NESTMEDIC WITH FOREIGN CONTRACTS. PREGNABIT GOES TO CONQUER FINLAND AND NIGERIA

Recent weeks have brought good news from Nestmedic – our portfolio company. The company continues the commercialization of the Pregnabit telemedical CTG solution for fetal health monitoring.
A few days ago, a distribution agreement was signed with the Nigerian company Health Cross Global Medical Solutions Limited. The contract concerns the distribution of the Pregnabit system in Nigeria, one of the world leaders in terms of fertility rate. As a result of the contract, only next year, about 295 devices for CTG testing at home will be brought to the Nigerian market.
This is the second agreement signed by Nestmedic with a foreign partner in the last few weeks. In the beginning of November, the Company announced that it had signed a cooperation agreement with a Finnish distributor, Steripolar Oy. The contract defines the commercial conditions of the distribution of the Pregnabit system in Finland.
(…) We are very pleased that we cooperate with a partner who has over 30 years of experience in the distribution of medical equipment, which gives us the opportunity to effectively commercialize our system on the Finnish market” – says Patrycja Wizińska-Socha, President of Nestmedic.
We congratulate the Nestmedic team on their success in foreign expansion and we keep our fingers crossed for further dynamic development of the Company.

FORBES ABOUT POLISH GUTENBERG – FILIP GRANEK – FOUNDER AND CEO OF XTPL

In the latest edition of the Forbes monthly, there is an article about the extraordinary path that Filip Granek went through, from a scientist to an effective leader and entrepreneur, awarded last week by EY in the Entrepreneur of the Year competition.
XTPL aspires to be a global company, the valuation of which exceeds one billion zlotys. However, it would not be a success without the vision and courage that Konrad Pankiewicz,  the first investor of XTPL, did not lack.
“(…) I invested in a project called “the world’s thinnest electrically conductive lines”, and when asked the author of the project, if he would be able to implement it, he replied with childish honesty that he had no idea. It was a matter of imagination and courage. I am glad that we did not miss it”– says Konrad Pankiewicz.
The entire article is available in the paper version of the latest issue of the Polish edition of FORBES magazine (12/2018). An excerpt of the article can be found here.
