Great news came from the Gala of the 16th edition of the EY Entrepreneur of the Year competition, which took place on November 22 in Warsaw. Filip Granek, founder and CEO of XTPL, our portfolio company, collected the statuettes in two categories. The first and at the same time the most important one is the Entrepreneur of the Year 2018, which the jury awarded for “work on a breakthrough technology that has a serious chance to change the world for the better”. This title entitles to represent Poland during the international final of the EY World Entrepreneur of the Year 2019 competition, which will be decided in June next year in Monaco.
The second category in which the CEO of XTPL won was the “New Business”, in which the jury awarded Filip Granek “for using his own scientific experience to create an innovative product on a global scale”.
